Instead of stacking two drawers on top of each other, we separated them creating a deliberate pause in the composition.

Negative space is often treated as what's left over. Here, it becomes the defining feature.

Four turned wooden spheres lift the upper volume, allowing light, shadow and proportion to do as much work as the timber itself.

Sometimes, what you remove matters more than what you add.
